Pictured Rocks Sand Painting in natural colors as found in the ravine north of Pike's Peak near McGregor, Iowa. Images of George Washington, paddle steamer, Great Seal of State of Iowa. Artistically arranged in bottle by Andrew Clemens, deaf mute, artist. This is now a lost art. Andrew Clemens was born in Dubuque, Iowa January 29, 1857. Died at McGregor, Iowa May 12, 1894. As a deaf mute he received his education at Council Bluffs, Iowa.
