Apache. Practice. Bow and arrow is all that is left of the compete set which was presented to Miss Florence Butler, later Mrs. O.G. LeHew, Albia, Iowa a grade school teacher of Osceola, Iowa while vacationing in the west during the late 1890s. For many years the bow and arrows were used as a wall decoration in the school room where Miss Butler taught.
When Robert J. Dunbar, donor, a nephew of Miss Butler's entered the first grade in 1903 he became so interested in the wall decoartion that his aunt promised him that she would give it to him some day, which she did in 1910 but only the bow and one arrow was left.
