Object Name Dress
Description Wedding. A creation of daintily-colored silk mull, black and white shirred net, and green ribbon trimmed. The gored skirt widened and lengthened by a deep circular flounce joined under applique trim, sweeps the floor. The shirred net forms the yoke and high collar and the lower portion of very full, puffed sleeves. The green ribbon bows down the front closing and on the sleeves match the crushed ribbon belt. Worn by Miss Ida B. Garoutte at wedding toi Mrs. R.S. Whitely, June 30, 1904. Moth Miss Garoutte and Mrs. Whitley were residents of Adel, Iowa in 1904
